1. Figure vs. Hockey Skates
Figure skates have a flat blade with a toe pick; hockey skates curve more. No matter which you choose, comfort is key. The right skate helps build balance and confidence.
2. Proper Fit Is Everything
Skates should fit snugly, with toes touching the end without being cramped. Oversized skates make balancing harder. A well-fitted skate supports steady strides.
